hi all again, when i was doing my training my teacher said she uses moxy powder, when we got our catalogues to order from it wasnt in there at all. Have creative not got a catalogue for 2005 yet as mines says 2004 and i only got it last week.

are you sure she didn't say moxy monomer? As far as I'm aware you use the perfect colour powders/metro/mosaic/etc with moxie (although I haven't used it).

Linzi is correct - the new faster setting Liquid is called Moxie. It is used with all of the existing powders that can be used with Retention+.

Hi Zoe

Moxie isnt in the catalogue as yet (we're still on 2004 brochure) If you're confident enough then give Moxie a go, otherwise try Radical

Hopefully they will have a new brochure out soon!!

Moxie monomer is not in the 2004 catalouge but if you would like to purchase this item, Creative would be glad to assist.:D

I brought some the other day and was well impressed.

J

yes it was moxy monomer! I dont think i should use it just yet but i was just wondering why it wasnt in the brochure. Thanks

i dont know why they give Retention + as the liquid to train with ...... its pants!!

Pants is an expression I use  - I have never heard it used toward Retention+. Sorry Zobo but if you were me you would exercise your right to explain why too! Since the inception of R+ in 1998, we have had win after win in L+P; Moxie Liquid was bought out for one simple reason.... to enable CND teks to enjoy a faster setting liquid - it does not have the chemistry behind it such as Retention+ however IF YOU LIKE WORKING FAST then Moxie will work for you... it is not the best liquid for beginners at all.... ! Zobo you are of course entitled to call Retention+ 'pant's however since it's inception and winning time and time again since then... I personally beg to differ!

Creative Competitors, 1991 to present day… read on... it's incredible!

Love and Congratualtions to every name on this list!! You guys TOTALLY ROCK!!

My goodness, what a list! Quite a few familiar names there too.

I'm shocked at hearing Retention+ refered to as 'pants'! I love it. I also use Moxie though & find it is fantastic for sculpting with. It definitely isn't for beginners but sets well & gives a fabulous clear colour to the powders. I have been using it through the colder months but will be switching back to Retention+ soon as it is getting too warm for a fast set liquid.

I have never tried Radical liquid as my training showed that the chemistry behind Retention+ makes it superior to Radical, plus I trained in Retention+, though I have heard that Radical is better for heavy-handed clients. I guess it is whatever suits you best.

Horses for courses I think:
Radical :For clients with enhancements that are prone to cracking and chipping

Rentinion+: For clients with enhancements that are prone to lifting. Primer optional...... I have never yet had to use primer so this one is my favorite and I get fab results every time......

Moxy: Fast setting, colour enhancing monomer, for Technicians that like to work faster....

I love R+ and deffo wouldn't call it pants....
My god the winning list is so huge... wohoooooooooooooooooooooooooo
