I use Bio sculpture normally which is a totally different consistancy.

After my dilemma with the Fabric boost being virutally impossible to use i though perhaps something odd maybe going on in my salon !!!?!!

Thanks in advance.

Hi There,

I've just started using the NSI gel. I also bought the prof: kit.....it would appear that my white gel is also extremley thick, not what I was expecting at all.
Also, is it me or is it just not very.....White!?!. Don't get me wrong, I don't want 'porn star' white but I was hoping for something a little brighter.

Any Suggestions?

You'd probably be better to use the extreme white by NSI (I think that's what it is called  ) it is the white from the coloured gel range.

I think KellyC uses NSI. It migt be worth sending her a pm.

HTH

I agree, Ladies that you may be happier with the 'Extreme White' From the Balance Colour Range. The Constructor, the bright white tip (and the other one .... can't remember name) are all thick and not so bright white in colour - but the extreme is bright white and a lot thinner - I would suggest though that this would be normally used as a paint on white, never sculpted with it and not sure I could).

The Constructor, Bright White etc, do build lovely nails but takes quite a bit of practice as it is soooo thick!

Hi Amb

I use Bio Sculpture, and am just a little intrigued to know if the reason you are seeking to use gel from another system is because you are unhappy with that from Bio Sculpture.

Sorry if this is a bit off the thread.

Bio is so expensive......i use it on all my clients and have a good client base from it..but get the odd problem here and there with tips and overlay and thought i would 'trial' the nsi just on myself and my mum, family etc

I dont like the idea of the nsi being a file off....but just wanted to see if i could irradicate my split tip problem with another gel.

Also it was on offer at xmas so thought...oh i will give that a bash!!!

But.....did a set of NSI on my fellow geeker funky fingers........4 days later SPLIT BLOOMING TIPS ARGHHHH its doing my head in.

Is it my millenium tips???? what do u use or do you just sculpt?????

My sculpts tend to look like 'Lumps R Us' did them!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sorry, I know this is a bit naughty, but I had to lol at this!!!

the white gel from nsi that you get in their kit is very thick. personally, i use their extreme white from their colour range. have also had the split tip thing when i used millenium tips, so i now use the tip company .... great value and good quality. hth.

Hiya Amb.... I think this thread is helpful on the tip thing...
http://www.thenailgeek.com/showthread.php?t=10570&highlight=split+tips

cant help on the NSI stuff tho mate as I dont use it!
I find it hard to believe its the tips at fault, unless one of the probs on the above thread is applicable...(ie "C" curve of a millenium tip being unsuitable for the shape of the natural nail etc).....I have had great results from Millenium tips....in fact I will only use Millenium or Creative tips!

Hi Ya, i do use NSI and found that their white was not very white! i actually now use the Extreme White which is their color gel and you do have to purchase it seperately it doesnt come as part of the kit but it is much nicer to use and the color is great x x x

Forgot to mention....this lady stacks shelves at asda. And the first nail quote... "came off whilst she was opening boxes, and hardly knocked it at all"

Rang my client and asked her to ask her friend if she could get to me if not i would put myself out to travel to her, for safe removal/repair.

I will keep u posted on the outcome.

sorry put that in the wrong thread ...must stop doing that!!
