I cover up to 8 miles (I don't charge extra in this radius). I strictly won't travel further. Only time I do is for big appointments like weddings. When I started I was charging 50p extra a mile, which was great to fill a gap when I wasn't fully booked. But as I got busier I found I was turning down local clients because I was spending too much time traveling to those living further out. But when building clientele it had to be done. I'd recommend charging enough extra to cover your time as well as petrol. Xx
