Normally 150-200g but that all depends on what the weight of each strand is, how thick/fine your hair is etc.

Hope you get it sorted soon

Thank you so much for your reply, I'm hoping everything will be sorted soon.

I will of course update the board, hopefully with some good news :)

I have 125 in mine which is roughly 100g of hair :)

Thank you so much :)

I have roughly 76 strands that I've counted, I'm not sure if that is about right as my hair is quite thin...

I usually have 100-125 bonds/strands in mine xx

Wow these are the worst hair extensions I've ever seen and I've seen a lot of bad ones! The colour is nothing like your natural colour and your scalp looks so sore :/ Disgusting that she isn't insured. Whatever you decide to do I hope your hair and scalp is ok and this also teaches her a lesson. 800 clients?! She really has no clue! [emoji23]

I will have to upload the photos of the back of my scalp from my camera tomorrow, it is so sore!

I know! I genuinely didn't notice the colour initially, I sound like a right numpty I know!

My hope from all of this is that she realises she can't just go around treating people or their hair in this way.

Thank you so much for your advice X

**FINAL UPDATE**

Hi Guys,

I just wanted to firstly thank you all for the wonderful advice and support :)

Secondly, the hair extensions are out!! I feel like a new woman!!

The salon that I went to were flabbergasted by the poor fitting. They said the keratin bonds hadn't even been cut to a shorter size, she had just put in a massive bonded piece of hair, they also said the triangles she had taken were far too large, and that she had taken pieces from several sections and it was no wonder I was in agony.

It took the woman who fitted them an 1hr & 30 mins to fit them and it took the salon nearly 3 hours to remove them.

The salon were so fantastic that I've booked in to get my hair cut in 2 weeks time :)

Once I had sent the images to the woman who fitted them along with the opinion of the salon, I received a full refund immediately.

Again, I can't thank you all enough for all of your help, and I will certainly be using this forum again, hopefully not for the same reason though!

I hope you all have a wonderful Bank holiday weekend Xx

Your poor head! I have had extensions done many times I'm not trained in them or anything but they defiantly looked sectioned wrong I can only imagine the pain of your scalp ouch ouch ouch [emoji29][emoji29][emoji29] glad to hear it's ended better for u

I am so glad you got everything taken care of and didn't back down. Make sure you write a honest and thorough review of your experience, including pictures, on her Facebook page and anywhere else you can. Like you said....you don't Want this happening to other people. This won't affect her '800' customers supposedly happy customers ....but it will be a red flag for new customers.

You must be feeling so relieved to have them out at last.

I wonder whether this will persuade your original 'extension specialist' to get some proper training, insurance and dare I say it, register with HMRC?

I wouldn't have accepted a full refund. Too little too late!

Omg i have been an extensionist for 15 years i have never seen such a mess.. Firstly yes the sections are taken too wide secondly the hair that shouldnt be in the bond is classed as travelling hair in extension terms and thirdly it looks like she has tried to add more hair extensions in your hair there looks to be no sections of hair in between each row as if they are all on top of each other.... I would contact trading standards too they will certainly take it into consideration and possibly investigate her x

aww hun they are very bad extensions. First of all as she is not prepared to help you out you need to name her and warn others of her bad workmanship. Is she qualified? the colour match is appauling. you sholud try micor/nano rings. They are brilliant. Theres no bonding so no damage to the natural hair. I hope you sort it out hun
