Do you guys find posting last minute cancellations or available appointments to social media improves your bookings?

I'm thinking of doing it to fill up those "gappy" diary days - but I wouldn't want to put people off contacting me/booking if I didn't advertise a time slot that suited them.
Do you get clients who panic book only to not turn up or cancel last minute?

I post mine but it doesn't always make a difference in filling them. I just think I'd rather advertise them and try too fill them than sit around xxx

I post mine and clients also share the posts.
They don't always get filled but sometimes do so it's worth it.

I have done this occasionally but I don't think it made any difference to the bookings that came in after ☹️

Thanks for your feedback guys! x

I have 600 followers who are genuine clients and posting vacant appointment makes no difference what so ever to my salon. It actually makes us look desperate imho.

I can post cancellation and it can get filled immediately. I can't see what's desperate about filling an appointment and keeping a client happy.

I post available gaps but also write something along the lines of...

'If you cant see a suitable appointment don't hesitate to contact me'..

This works well for me to fill the gaps/encourage new appointments.

Nothing desperate about it, it's just a way of communicating.

Yes mine was 50/50 tbh x

I selectively post ours, just not too often or too many
