This is the cheap way of practicing, but I purchased a practice finger with the adhesive bottom. It is made for nail tips that you can slide in, but I"m having a difficult time with it. It seems that no matter what size I put in, I can't seem to make it stay. I bought this so that my daughters can practice nail art. How do we use the darn thing?

Try a bit of blue tac under the tip and see if that helps

Thank you. Will do.

Personally I hate those things...I cant get on with them at all!
I like a blob of blu-tac on an orange stick myself... simple, cheap, and does what it says on the tin ;)

or stick tips to an ice cube tray with blue tac thats always good for nail art

i find a size 3 tip fits in well, the curvier shapes are better, coz they seem to spring into a good firm hold if you ram em right in. i actually like those fingers, theyre nice and easy to hold.

I always stick my tips onto the back of an old knife block (it has a slanted side perfect for just this!) using blu-tac. I usually get about 6 0r 8 on the go at once! HTH x

Ive always used an orange stick with a tip stuck on each end with blu tack xx
