Pregnancy & enhancements falling off?

Can anyone tell me -

Can you where nail enhancements during pregnancy?

I was told that because of excessive hormones etc L & P enhancements will not adhere and will fall off.

Last year i did a set of L & P on a new client, I did not know untill i arrived at her home that she was pregnant & told her there and then they would fall off & they did come off whole! in about 5 days. Now i no longer do ladies if they are pregnant.

This was in the days that my prep was very poor admittedly. Thesd days i hardly have any lifting but i'm still scared to do pregnant ladies.
