I have my final Level 2 nail tech exam tomorrow. Hopefully, once I've passed, I would like to set up working from home or mobile.
How do I go about working out what to charge clients? I'm looking to do acrylic nail extensions, overlays and nail art on natural and acrylics, plus general manicures.
There are quite a few salons where I live but I suspect that the majority of these do not employ 'qualified' technicians. The prices I have seen range from £15-£25 for extensions, with extensions by a trainee from £12-£15.
I've also thought about renting a table in a local salon that does not currently do nails, just to get some experience. What rent would I be expected to pay?
