Raw finger tips from filing acrylic enhancements

Hi, I am a Beauty Therapist & I do a lot of Acrylic Enhancements, just wondering if anyone is in the same boat as me and ends up with raw finger tips from buffing over your clients nails and catching your own skin with the file & can I do anything to avoid this? Thank you

Have you tried Flexi Wrap? It's a bit fiddly, but does work pretty well.

I'd also look at your filing technique to see if you can change it so you aren't constantly catching yourself.
How are holding your clients finger and your file?
