Sorry I don't understand is that done with a sharpie marker pen?

Permanent marker? Is it not just the nail art pens you can get?

You can do it, but remove the tacky layer first, and topcoat twice :)

i cant see that this would look very professional to clients....using a sharpie that they can get themselves and at home xx

Heather, do you mean the sharpie would go between the 2 layers of topcoat or you would have topcoat then sharpie then 2 more layers of top coat?

I'd be interested to try this on my own nails, I like playing around to see what works 😃

No different to using craft glitters and foil! It's a craft pen, think its a good idea!x

I did this with a sharpie, years ago lol before I even found salon geek!

I, also, don't see why not. Lots of techs use eyeshadow and craft glitter etc. Let us know how it looks!

Thank u so much ladies!!

I saw this on Pinterest (of course lol) and I thought it would create some cool looks that a more detailed. I know it dries fast, but I still want you all's opinion.

Thank you so much!!! Ill post pictures if I can get around to trying. I LOVE the writing picture that was posted!!

I use Markers for years now, to do qick nail art in salon. You can use it on gel, acrylic, and any soak off gel polish (hybrid gel) no mater which brand it is. Nails need to be just matt, then you do design and then seal. Of course if that on Gel polish then we apply top coat and then buff then design and then top coat again. It dry very quick which is great :)
It is great espesialy for swirls few seconds and it is done, few designs done with pen:

Now this is something I have to try! Because my CND additives, eyeshadow palettes (2 x 60), 50+ glitters, 20 foils, konad plates are not freakin ENOUGH! Now I gotta get sharpies! Lol

I am seriously ill ' :)

I can't imagine there would be any difference. I am off to HobbyCraft tomorrow, this is a great idea.
