It's the born pretty chrome. If you look really close, in real life, you can see it's a little grainy. But I used ibd just gel slate as my base, which is a shimmer charcoal colour.

I know some people have had issues with chrome but I've had no problems with it. Haven't had any cracks or chipping. My process is below.

Prep nails
Apply base coat and 2x colour as normal
Apply non wipe topcoat, cure for 15 seconds rather than 30
Use silicone or sponge applicator to rub in the chrome. Really firmly rub it in.
Finish curing.
Use a fan brush to dust off all excess chrome powder. This is all the loose powder on the nail and all round the cuticles and side walls. Be really thorough!
Apply 2x topcoat, curing in between.

I hope this thread helps anyone who is struggling with chrome, chameleon or holo as it's such a gorgeous trend!

Can i flash cure with a uv lamp? Would I do it for 10/15 secs or longer? Thanks
 
I've got the CND uv lamp and do 20 seconds

Have you got it to stay on natural nails without chipping?
