Ok I just spray tanned my friend for the first time for practice a few quistions I bought a cheap gun around £35 from Hong Kong does it make a great deal of difference if I paid for one a £120 and If so how?
The tan I did looks much darker in each areas and used around 150ml of liquid and from what I read 50ml is the right amount.

Can't advise on gun as I've always used my ts20 but imo you'll pay for what you get and the gun you have may be poorly made or not last as long.

150ml is definitely too much which is probably why your tan is darker in areas. As a newbie I'd say aim for between 50ml and 70ml. You'll gradually get down to around 50ml with practice.

Is your nozzle turned up to high? Is that why you are using so much solution? Try turning the dial down and spraying a finer mist.
