Spray tanning tips needed

Hello, I am new to the spray tanning business and I have a few questions. I have been practicing on my husband and friends, and I've been noticing that sometimes it looks like Bronzer gets in their pores and makes them look like millions of black heads on their chest and back! It's gross! Any idea why this happens sometimes? Also, if you start spraying too late and it causes a small build up of solution/bronzer, do you have any tips on how to get rid of it? I've tried rubbing it in, but that starts a whole other mess of issues.... like spreading the bronzer around in stripes. Any advice would be much appreciated!

If i use a solution with a heavy bronzer i get the black head look. It happens to me really bad when i use LA tan. The build up of solution i would just leave or slightly dab with a mit, it should wash of fine xx
