USA work with accommodation

I am trying to recolate for about 8 months to anywhere in America, so I can travel the state's while working. I am a qualified therapist and would be looking for a beautician job. I would be looking for accomodation jobs or live in hotel jobs, can any one help me please on where to look and start applying?

Can you not just email some hotels or a google search? I am sorry, didn't want to read and run, but I have absolutely no idea where you'd start off. I know there is a website - I can't remember exactly what it's called - but it's where you go and help out/offer your services to people/companies abroad (and in the US) for accommodation and food, so you don't have any costs, but you don't get paid for your work. But I think this is mainly for people who need help with projects they're working on around their land, not necessarily beauty therapy xxx
