Hey guys,
Something thats really been bothering me is the base colors of wellas toners. I know most people are familiar with wellas t18 for going platinum, but I'm talking about wellas other toners for darker blondes. They require that the hair be lifted to gold or yellow, yet the toner contains gold in its formula? I understand it has violet in it as well, but how does this tone gold or yellow hair? Wouldn't the two colors in the formula essentially balance each other out and produce a neutral color rather than an ashy balancing toner? If anyone can explain this to me i would really appreciate it, thanks!
