I did the acrylic base layer then dusted the netting in clear powder and then pressed it in.
Came back to it once it had set and used a wet bead and did an ombré Doesn't really show well in the pic.
I think, just think as I'm not sure yet but I think this design is better in a glitter/shimmer acrylic as the contrast is better

From the picture, it looks like a "puddle" of Shellac mixed with glitter, sitting on a matt background. Is that right? I've not heard about this trend yet

I've heard about them here's a picture I found on google.... I know there are some tutorials too! I'm not brace enough to try it

I actually have a tutorial up on youtube for this very nail design

Its a pretty cool technique that i've only seen done with L & P previously, You put a glitter mix in the middle , go over the top with a colour of your choice and buff off the centre portion to reveal the geode design, I did mine completely in shellac for something a bit different
