My first ever rockstars on my natural nails, with Martha Stewart glitters. Just having a play to see what the colours looked like under shellac topcoat.. Couldn't decide which colours to try first so I tried a few. Was meaning to take em off before I went to the gym this morning, but they look ok so I left them on.

using an old make up brush I just dabbed one colour, starting heavy and then thinned out glitter as I got further away, then did exactly the opposite on the next colour (i.e. started light then more glitter towards the free edge)

i used the youngs nails technique, so much quicker and less messy than tapping from the vial of glitter.

i also don't apply the glitter on sticky residue.

shellac base - cure 20secs
thin layer clear polish - i use zillionaire as i don't have negligee- cure 2mins
2nd thin layer polish - NO CURE
apply glitter
pat down with centre of form - cure 2 mins
topcoat - 2mins
2nd coat topcoat - 2 mins


just waiting for my cheeky/XL plates so i can do some serious stamping!
