I know this is an old thread but thought id bump it up!! seems like a pretty good idea to share ideas for shop fronts!!
When I look at shop fronts what puts me off is
* badly hand written signs
* products that have faded in the sun
* if the promotions / posters havent changed (if i go past some where alot, I like seasonal changes)
I like ...
*to get a taste of what the salon offers
*simple uncluttered displays!
