Vera Susan, the advice I gave in the article is really your best bet ...

If this is the type of course for you then your next question will be which product manufacturer do you recommend? If you ask a nail tech then of course they'll say the brand they use is the best!! They're hardly likely to admit they're using an inferior product are they? So do your own research. Your best bet is to phone up each manufacturer and ask for their brochure. Then go to one of the trade shows around the country and ask for a demo of each brand you are interested in. Get a feel for the Company’s ethics, do you like the way they treat you? In short, do they deserve to get your hard earned money?

If you ask us geeks then they'll just tell what they use is best, which will be quite a few different brands and confuse you even more!!!!

Cheesy Is there any hope for me

I live in Portugal, would like to run my own buiseness eventually, but cant find any courses here in the algarve cant afford to go to and fro uk any advice hopefull Kim

I don;t know hun, sadly a lot of this article is aimed at the UK market. You could post a thread in the main forum and ask any geeks in Portugal if they know of anywhere to good training

i have done various course's within nails and beauty at numourous college's and company training venues for there products, as sassy says the reputation of the company is in your hands so it is in there best intrest that the training given by these is A1, of all the companys i have trianed with i find michelle porter beauty products the best. the educatours are upto date on all products within the nail industry very informative patient and professional, i would advise anyone who ask to go with there training programmes, also when talking to the girls on the telephone they are very polite have a vast product knowledge and are very helpfull at finding a venue and date conveinent to you for traininng. i give michelle porter beauty products a 5***** for all round assistance in there product and training
