Well probably the most frequently asked post is "where should i do my training?". Most people on the site when asked this question politely advise the quizzer to do a search. But have you done one? Most threads actually give very little advice, apart from "do a search", but I've...

Thanks Sassy! I'm a newbie but I've been given a Fabulous opportunity in a respected local Salon.

I've bought the Essential Nails Course & Trainer for Fibreglass nails and I seem to be getting on ok :-) but I really want to get some good quality hands-on training. Everybody seems to like Creative but I couldn't find a Fibreglass course (specifically) from them.

Is Fibreglass a difficult place to start? Have I chosen a Toughie?

I'd really appreciate some opinions or guidance people... Cheers

who should i do my training with

Hi,
I wish i could have seen this thread last year before i done my 4 day intensive course, there are so many courses out there to look at i would advise to train with a product ,i done my course and have spent loads of money on different products trying them all out,and so much of it is just sat in my cupboard because i didnt like it, wasted.
I then discovered Bio sculpture and done a course in that and i now feel happier that im trained in a product, i would like to try something else now may be creative ,but will have to start saving first.I also felt the intensive course didnt go into detail enough with nail disorders,im starting mobile part time in September and im worried im gonna face a nail disorder and not know what to do about it ,i also feel ive had to learn by my own mistakes i didnt have no one to turn to ,i feel like i was thrown in the deep end,but im glad i discovered this sight as ive picked up loads of info

Creative offer INM Fibreglass in the UK.

I initially trained in fibreglass and I love using it, it's a fab system that has many plus points including being a very thin overlay and strong too

Confused

yes I have heard of acrygel, and I was contemplating doing the training for that with Michelle Porter, but I am so confused as to which gel to train with , there are so many. I have an Itec qualification, but I cant decide between them all, I dont really want to waste time going over old work, like nail disorders etc, I just want to be trained in a good gel. Has anyone tried the new acrygel, if so what do you think? its either that of IBD, I think!!!
