never mind the ugly mug. but this pic is where i learned that color does not lift color. i used a light blonde hair dye to cover the brown, and only the uncolored roots lifted a bit. july 2010 pic.

dark brown, four years ago, i was talked into using brown hair dye to cover gray. i didn't like it. it was drab and boring. 2009 pic.
still,not,light,enough after gentle bleach bath.
used purple manic panic to tone, but it was too dark. manic panic virgin snow didn't show up, because my hair was too dark.
after another bleach bath, taken after i neglected lightening up the hair for awhile.
