Step 1 – Prepare the natural nail plate, pushing back the cuticles and removing the non living tissue. Apply two coats of Prep Freshener before applying your form. Use Ultrabond Primer over the natural nail for extra adhesion.
Step 8 – Add more glitter creating a second ribbon along the base of your pink ribbons with Milk Candy (58), from the Sweet Candy Collection. Your final look should be a plaited effect along the free edge.
Step 7 – Create shadows and highlights along the stripes using (P1) from the Pastels Series and blending this into (R7) from the Red & Wine Series. You should end up with a three colour fade.
Step 6- Repeat step 5 again on the opposite side of the nail, starting at the side wall and diagonally pressing the acrylic into the first stripe. This should give you a chevron type smile line. Add the third strip across the nail in the same direction as the second stripe, below the first stripe. Repeat this process down the length of the nail.
Step 5 – Using pale pink (P5) from the Pastel Series, place a small bead and draw it diagonally from the corner of the nail, pressing and flattening it into a stripe. Use the smaller Size 6 Design Brush to ensure a crisp edge.
Step 4 – Cover the pale pink again with the Coral (47) glitter, to match the free edge. Make sure this layer is very thin.
