Hi Francee, I've only just had a chance to look at your website and I just want to say how impressed I am with it and also with all your work! Thanks also for your tip about using iced coral, I never thought of that for a French but I'm going to give it a go. Thanks for taking the time to help me out, much appreciated! Kind regards Marie x
Hiya, I love your french nails! They're fabulous! Can you tell me what colour you used as the base please. some of my clients dont want a pink base when they have their shellac french so I'd love to know what colour you've used. I generally use Negligee or just clearly pink but your's look like a beige base. Look forward to hearing from you and once again, I think you've done a beautiful job! Regards Marie xx
I have been busy with my full time job, working in the salon at American House and doing several Shellac clients at home. Shellac is just an amazing product.
I've signed up for the Master Painter Class in Farmington Hills on Nov. 21. I cannot wait for that. A girl I worked with at the salon is going with me, too. She loves how long Shellac lasts on her nails (she's also a hairdreser) so, she'd like to start offering Shellac to her nail clients.
How are your darlins' doing?
Yes, my grandson drew the pic. It's his self-portrait. The thing is, it DOES look like him. LOL!
I'm going to re-do my nails this weekend. Hopefully, my son will be in a good mood and take some pics. If so, I will post them. Also, I have some friends coming over Monday so I can Shellac 'em!
I hope you have a great Memorial Day weekend! :)
I'm going to my local beauty school after work today for a pedi! Can't wait! It's been a rough week!
Hi franjess! The lamp I mentioned from Ind. Source is the old BRISA lamp. They are selling those for $100. If CND is not going to discontinue the bulbs from the old lamp, it may be worth it to purchase as a backup.
Here's the contact info for the Ind. Source in Clinton Twp:
34910 S Gratiot Avenue
Clinton Township, MI 48035
(586) 791-9953
One more thing, call them (or visit them) this month and ask about the Shellac kit you are interested in. If they don't have it, ask them to honor the deal when it comes in. If you ask about it in June, they probably won't honor it. I gave them my name and phone # so they can call me when it comes in.
Here's the info for the one by you:
49069 Van Dyke Ave
Shelby Township, MI 48317
(586) 254-5765
Thanks for the grandson comment...he's the 'love of my life' these days!
I went to the Industry Source at 15 Mile Rd. and Gratiot, in Clinton Twp.
I also wanted to tell you that Cosmo Prof has a deal: they have two Shellac kits, one Hot Shellac (Fedora, Tutti Frutti, Wildfire, top and base coats) and a French Shellac (Cream Puff, Negligee, Romantique, top and base coats) for $49.99, saving almost $30.00. My local Cosmo Prof is out of them but will honor the special when it comes in, sometime in June.
There is a Cosmo Prof in Shelby Twp., at 22 Mile Rd. and Van Dyke. I think that may be the closest one to you. The 10% off is June 12 and June 13, I believe, but I'll let you know for sure when I find out.
Hi Franjess, I hope you are doing well! I stopped by my local Industry Source today and noticed they are selling Brisa lamps. I just had to ask how much and they are selling them for $100. Just thought I'd share that with you. It may be a good idea to stock up. :)
The nail you did in our Shellac Attack still looks just as good as the day you did it. Thought you'd like to know.
I hope you have a wonderful Memorial Day weekend! :)
