  • Hi,
Noticed in some of your older posts that you were using Bellissima. How did you get on with that, if you don't mind me asking? I'm due to do their gel skills course so just after a wee bit of feedback! Thanks, Tasha x
    Hi Lissy,

The £10 is to attend the Bio presentation at the Premier Inn on the same day.
ps.. S Gel shouldnt be difficult to get off. Are you buffing the nail thoroughly before soaking it off. You need to do this to break the seal... x
Oops didnt even realised I had any notifications...
I thoroughly rub actually with the pad scrub the nail ensuring I cover all down the nail wall & around the cuticle area.
Once done I either use clear as a base coat or sculpting gel depending on each clients nail types...
The other thing that I do now is I ensure that my coats of gel are 2 lick layers that are the consistancy of varnish when its applied. My finishing layer is nearly always flexi-gel. On 4 of my customers I've had to resort to clear finish too because their nails were so flexible & soft anything else I used was just causing them to chip & lift...
Personally I dont like S Gel as I find it brittle or inclined to chip but maybe I found that to be the case when I was a little too enthusiastic with my gels thickness...
A finished nail should look nice & thin (no thicker than a credit card)...
Hope this helps. Throw your questions my way & I will do my best to answer what I know from experience... :))
Yep, would need some thought, I reckon! Too zonked out to work it out tonight as have been working in Wolverhampton all day (early start tomorrow too so off to bed in a sec). Am off on Friday though so may have a bit more brain power then lol... main problem is that Office Live is CMS (content management system) powered; so if you took an exact copy of your site, you would lose the ability to edit it (apart from tweaking the underlying HTML, which is not as easy as using a CMS). Moving domain names across is usually a hassle; managed to do it in the past with an Office Live site though so it is do-able...
The best free website provider I have seen so far is Weebly - Weebly - Create a free website and a free blog - alas it would be a question of having to add all your content to Weebly rather than easily move it across from Office Live though. Maybe you could send me the link to your existing website as I can't find the thread you mentioned...
