    Help! Damaged oak table

    Oh dear. If acetone has come into contact with a varnished surface, it can remove the varnish. If that has happened there is nothing you can do about it bar getting it repaired professionally. I hope you manage to get it sorted out & that the acetone hasn't stripped the varnish off x
