    Fiberplex?

But how have Schwarzkopf been allowed to use the same ingredient to create virtually the same product?

    I made someone cry today

Don't let it get you down! These things happen to all of us, we have all made mistakes - even those at the top of their game! So to address the bleeds issue, the best advice I can offer, which has worked really well for me, is to make sure you're not saturating the hair with too much bleach...

    Help achieving this colour

Try some strand tests with lightener and 1.9%, 3%, 6% and see if anything will lift her hair without severely compromising it. You'd need to be very careful of those highlights she's been having though - if the strand tests indicate that you can go ahead with this process then I'd be tempted to...

    Help achieving this colour

As cam suggested, Olaplex would be very helpful here to keep the hair strong. The picture she's aiming to achieve is a full head of bleach and a toner, so you'd be looking at a colour correction kind of process - creating a totally even base to work on, then lightening it all to a true clean...

Mixing Olaplex with platinium and meches

Ok, so a 1/4 ounce per 30g platinium? And the same for meches but it's the mass of the cream and powder without developer?

    Fiberplex?

One of the big salons by me is doing this - they started at £20 introductory rate then put it up to £30. I'm working from home at the moment but my clients have been pretty keen to try it so not had any problems with the price as they know what a premium service it is and they feel the results...

Mixing Olaplex with platinium and meches

Hi guys, I'm using Olaplex on a couple of clients next week, one lady has the wella meches highlighting system - how much Olaplex should I use with this? I use half a tube of the cream with one of the sachets. The other lady has L'Oreal Platinium - how much Olaplex should I use with this? As...

    Koleston/Illumina with pastel

It is! I think they have a 3% in America its so unfair lol! X

    Koleston/Illumina with pastel

Would you mix equal parts with illumina or would you use 1:2 ratio?

    Koleston/Illumina with pastel

Hi guys, just wondering, is it ok to use Wella's permanent colours with Pastel developer if you want to darken but require no white coverage? So for example if I want to lowlight a blonde with 7/31 illumina... Can I mix it with pastel instead of 20 vol since I don't want any lift or white...

    L'Oreal Studio Blonde

I have to admit, I haven't used this new range but in the past I've always found the previous loreal bleaches horrific. In my opinion they dry out, swell, and stick at a brassy level 8 for ages.

    Igora mousse

Ahh ok cool. What's the application method?

    Fiberplex?

Ahh ok thanks! Well I charge £25 for all olaplex services. The salons near me charge £30. But of course it depends which area you work in as to how much you can charge

    Igora mousse

Hi guys, I'm fairly new to Schwarzkopf and loving it. Just a question about the semi permanent colour mousses - how do they work.... Do they go on wet or dry hair? How long do they last? Are they a bit like Wella Color Fresh, where you can use them to top up a tint on sensitised hair? Many thanks x

    Fiberplex?

Hi there, I'm self employed and do a bit of mobile, and I charge my clients a premium price for Olaplex as it is a premium product. However, I do undercut the local salons on price by about a fiver. I don't think I'm allowed to say how much I charge on here, however I am happy to tell you on...

    Fiberplex?

The impression I've been given is that they took the formula and improved it to make life easier for colourists. But then we have to ask, will it perform to exactly the same standard if the formula has been altered? I guess the only way is to try it

    Fiberplex?

I asked my rep about the patents on Olaplex and how on earth they managed to use the same ingredient... And he just winked at me and said they didn't have the RIGHT patents in place haha [emoji23]

    Fiberplex?

I know what you mean. I've still got loads of Olaplex left and I love it, but I'm going to try to Fiberplex and see how it compares ... I hope it's good otherwise I'll feel mega let down by Schwarzkopf!
