    Horror Story

We, as nail tech's, often hear 'horror stories' about what services clients have received. Many client's don't understand what the nail technicians are doing unless the steps of their service are being explained. Unfortunately many clients won't realise the difference between good and bad...

**on line petition for regulation of nail salons

    Nail Polishes

I'd definitely give "China Glaze" and "Zoya" polishes a go. They are quality nail polishes and have lovely thin brushes for easy application. Make sure you use a top brand top coat too, it makes the world of difference :-) Georgy

    Toe Nail Extensions

I have tried tips and sculpting on toe nails. Sculpting is definately the better option. I have had to sculpt (using liquid and powder) on bitten down toe nails and by following the natural nail direction and keeping them at a conservative length they lasted over 2 months before any lift etc...

    Opi absolute acrylic

Hi there, I have only used my sample kit a couple of times but i found that I needed to apply the absolute alot thinner that normal because if you had made it too thick in places it took forever to file off! It seems to be a very hardy acrylic. It does shine up nicely though :-) G
