    Press on nails for clients?

I’ve seen nail techs in my local area designing their own press on nails and then selling them to clients as they cannot currently open up their salons for obvious reasons. Are any other nail techs on here doing this? Where did you buy your press on’s from?

Just a rant about a client!

So I did a clients nails a week ago. She has just broken one today and has asked me to fix it before she goes away tomorrow. I politely said that I am fully booked this evening and then I have to dash straight out. I have said if she can get to me within the next 15 mins I can quickly get her in...

    Greenies!

So over the past couple of years working full time as a nail tech, around 5 of my clients have been prone to the horrible ‘greenie’! I’ve been filing down the gel, putting a cleaner onto the nail plate and then continuing with the treatment and in my experience, they usually just grow out. But...

How to get rid of a client in a nice way

I have a very difficult client who is nasty , judgemental and makes me feel so uncomfortable to the point where I get anxious about her appointments. I have a good client base so not bothered about the loss of money from her. How do I go about losing her as a client without sounding horrible?

Gel keeps setting in my pot, is it the heat?!

My gel keeps setting in my pot and my nail brushes also set and go rock hard. I make sure I don't put them near the lamp when it's on- What could be going wrong?! It's only the past couple of weeks this has happened. Could it be the heat?

    A client has a 'greenie'

Hi, One of my clients had pseudomonas (greenie) on their ring finger today. I just want to double check how you go about getting rid of them. Do you take the whole nail off, wipe it down with a nail cleaner and then can you reapply the nail like usual?

    Lash lift and tint course

I'm currently a self employed nail tech but looking to expand my business with new treatments and I love the look of the eyelash tint and lift. Children not covered on my insurance

    Bluesky SN range

Sorry I have to disagree with you there. I've been a qualified nail tech for over 4 years now and have tried out plenty of expensive coloured gels, went onto bluesky last year and find it covers just as well as all of the others, no chips or fades and I've never had any complaints.
