Can I mix colour fresh 8/81 and 10/81 together ? 8/81 I think will be abit dark and 10/81 to warm.

Any advice on root smudge over highlights? Colour touch 5.1 and 7.1 or 6.71.....anyone used these colours. Just want to cover natural base 6 and to not get any gold or lift.
