    Problem with hair colour

Hi, client has 95% white hair (3inch roots) with the rest level 7. Lifted hair with colour remover and developer. Used Wella naturals 9/0 + 9/38 (50/50 ratio) with 6% developer. The roots were not properly covered. Is this because level 9 is too light for 95% white hair? Am wondering whether...

Help needed to achieve subtle gold blonde

Update: I used 45 MLS 9/0 + 15 MLS 9/03 expecting a natural gold blonde. The result was a harsh gold blonde which the client was not happy with. Client popped into the salon after a few washes and her hair is now a light bright very gold blonde. Has anyone used 9/38 ? Would that produce an...

Help needed to achieve subtle gold blonde

Thanks AcidPerm for your suggestions. My client's roots are about 1/4 inch but her apt is not for 3 weeks yet so will most likely be 1/2 inch when she comes in. Her hair does have quite a lot of gold tones even though its L10. I'll use 3% as you suggested.

Help needed to achieve subtle gold blonde

Hi My client’s hair is 100% white but has been colored a L10 gold blonde. Her hair is very fine. She wants a L9 subtle gold / beige blonde similar to the photo attached. I am thinking of using Koleston Perfect 9.0 (natural) 50% + 50% of either 9.73 OR 9.38 with 20 Vol developer. Any...

Help needed to achieve natural blonde on white hair

I want to achieve a natural blonde on someone with 100% white at the front and 90% at the back with 10% level 6. The hair is fine not coarse and takes color well. She wants a natural looking Level 8 blonde that is slightly gold but not too much, with no visible brown or ash. I was thinking of...

    Topchic Triflective Naturals

Hi I've looked at the Triflective colour charts and the colours appear quite dark (levels 7 & 8). Just wondered if anyone has any experience of using them, in particular 8NBP. Looking to achieve a natural L8 blonde that is similar in tone to Topchic 8N. Many thanks Aliana
