I know this is a mega old thread but I just wandered if any technicians out there use this technique in favour of soaking off IBD just gel polish everytime before applying a new colour? X

OMG I'm the exact same! I hate using varnish now! How did I ever manage before?! Haha xx

I use IBD just gel polish as a complete system but I always use powerbond before applying the base coat. If I don't use powerbond, I'll almost certainly get lifting/chipping within a few days x

Definitely invest in a daytime lamp! I couldn't perform any work without one!! It makes such a difference x
