Hi all
I haven't posted for a good year or so here!
I set ups home salon in July 2016 using wella colours and have been very successful. To be honest though I just find wella too pricey for what I can justify charging being a home salon and I'm researching other colour lines, particularly...
I use wella and tried Affinage but couldn't get used to it...Maybe because I'm just too used to wella. I am going to get some more education on Affinage in the new year so not writing it off completely!
She already had a very grown out balayage so I topped that up using blondor and foils...
The shades used were violet and wild orchid.
It's hard to describe how I blended... was very visual
I use a lot of colour touch 7/73 in foils. An 8 can easily get lost in blonde. Definately go for a Demi over permanent, you will get a richer and longer lasting result. Tell the client it's permanent if she asks. I'm over clients dictating what products get put on their hair!
Can't work out why a hairdresser would take foils out so soon! If she is a level 8 the bleach would have had to have been on for such a short time to leave them so orange! Hunk of the underlying pigments.
Just pop heaps of baby lights in and lift to the same level at the ends and them tone. Or...
I'm in Australia and it's an extra 40 bucks a month.
They had to change my home insurance over to a business insurance, not just add public liability.
I think it's worth it though! It also covers stock etc
