I've voted for keeping mine in the bank, but not necessarily because I don't want anyone to get hold of them. It'smainly because I like the idea of saving something! I'm not the worlds best at saving money, so saving Geekmolians is the next best thing. :lol:

If we were being assessed by Ofsted (the government body that assesses schools) we get an 'outstanding' It shows we are all willing to at least try and make an effort with our spelling and grammar.

I suppose unless you're writing stories or quoting what someone has said if you're writing something, you'd have no need to use. them.

Correct. As in the following sentence: I have: an apple, an orange, a banana and a pear; my mum likes them all.

I've not come accross it used that way. Take a look at this document. It explains the semi-colon and all the other pieces of punctuation.

I used to spell it 'alot' and wondered why it always came up wrong in the spell check. Simple...because I'd spelt it wrong!:eek: Like Victoria said, it should be two words.

'z' is the American spelling

; is a semi-colon and it's used to separate two parts of a sentence,(clauses) sometimes used instead of a full stop. You don't use a capital after a comma. Only after full stops, exclamation marks and question marks

Ignore the bad spelling mistake for etcetera (terere!!), (you got there before I managed to edit it!)

You spelt it ect it should be etc (short for etcetera)
