in Jacqui Jeffords new nail art book there is a fantastic england flag - i'll try a take a piccy of it and post it for you. The nail is painted light blue and the flag is flying in a different position on each nail. obviously not a decal but fab!
whilst waiting for a friend recently (in her neck of the woods not mine!), i popped into a nail salon to pick up a price list...(ever the nosey tech!)

...i suppose it makes sense that the heat would mould the tip to the shape of the natural nail - much like moulding a gum-shield for rugby or boxing...
unless they just fancied a cuppa...

i like the Designer Nails files and buffers...they work out cheaper but are still fab. i'm sure they do a 'sample' pack, maybe you could try them this way!
