    Wella colour advice

Thank you Ron. Do you think 6/16 would cover the whites or use 6/ ? For mid lengths, mix 20vol + equal Blondor, then use 5/81+7/81 or add the bleach to the mix? I've not used Blondor so not familiar with it. Would prefer not to use bleach to avoid damage but I can't seem to get the orange out...

    Wella colour advice

To get a similar look, what would you recommend for a base 5 with 50% white at root and a brassy dull pretreated orange level 6 on the rest? Do I use Koleston to cover the gray since Illumina doesn't seem to be so good with whites (I'm a bit confused about using 66/0 vs 6/00 vs 6/0...and for the...

    Wella question

I've always used Wella Koleston Perfect and don't know anything about the other Wella lines. For a client with 40% gray, should I stay with Koleston Perfect double base naturals for best coverage? Also, I've lately been using generic peroxide rather than Wella's because it's not been available...

    Need help with Wella

Thank you! I can use either 7/81 or 5/81. I know Wella runs dark so I'd prefer 7 but using a 20 vol developer that would be 2 levels.

    Need help with Wella

Hi guys, hope you can help a newbie. Client is base 5, about 40% gray. I used Wella Perfect 6/0 (my mistake, thought she's more of a 6 but she's really a 5) & 7/1 at 50/50. Problem is color came out muddy and now is seriously brassy orange. I'm looking to get an ash brown, so I'm going to use...

    Advice/formula using Wella product

Hello, I am looking for a Wella expert and the right formula. I've been using Koleston perfect on a client and the resulting shade is too red, or too orange? I can't tell. I don't dye often and have no clue when it comes to Wella dyes. I can send detailed pictures.

    Wella Koleston newbie

Hey sorry to be annoying, but I can't get 5/02 in the US; apparently it's a new shade. I do want the color to be a little lighter, more like a light brown, what would you recommend at the 6/ level to counteract red? I am willing to pay you for your advice via PayPal.

    Wella Koleston newbie

Thank you, I've never used Illumina, that's a gorgeous color - https://www.wella.com/professional/en-EN/look-page/luxe-bronde-olive-bronde#/?_k=3bhgm6 What would you recommend for one shade lighter? If I go up to 6, would I have to use a stronger developer than 20?

Thank you, so use just 5/02 Illumina or mix with another shade?

    Wella Koleston newbie

Jamie, I've tried what you suggested 6/0 + 6/1 but color comes out reddish. Any other idea? FYI, client is a level 5 with 25% white but it looks like she's lost a lot of pigment, roots are more charcoal than brown. I tried 66/0 came out too dark, 7/1 came out too light as you said above (lots of...

Thank you; since there's a lot of red in her hair, shouldn't I use the /2 shade to neutralize it?

    Wella Koleston newbie

Hi guys, Hope you can help me with a Wella Koleston question. I just started to color and I'm not very familiar with Wella products. My client is a base 6-ish with 25% white, coarse hair. She wanted a light brown so I first used 66/0 just to be safe & cover whites but it came out a bit darker...
