Can I just ask, after reading this thread, for future reference, do you mean use a straight base 10 with pastel, then go over with a pre pig of /43 and /3, then add the darker ash tone to complete? Did you have any luck with your client @Snmlondonhair? Xxx

Well, I did use pastel on the roots then a fresh pastel mix on mids and ends but it didn't drive the colour in enough so had to use a 6% formula. Last night I coloured extensions with 9/43 and 8/05 mix and just to reconfirm, it comes out a beautiful rose gold. One thing I would do though if you...

Roots were pre lightened to a gold first and mids and ends already had been foiled previously x

I used to use majicontrast red and I just used to mix directions red (whichever tone of red you like) into white conditioner and popped it on after I shampooed in shower as usual and it never faded x I also used matrix SoRed and that was gorgeous too x

I achieved this rose gold colour with 9/43 and 8/05 illumina 1:1 xx

I did equal parts and it came out lovely. I guess it depends if you want it to be a stronger copper then you would use less of the 8/05 xxx
