    Delivering training courses

I have been googling away trying to find information on how to set up and deliver your own training courses and wonder if anyone had any information. Can I teach any subject I have a qualification in or do I have to have an assessors award for this. I would ideally like to certificate at the end...

Yes develop process and wash off "double toning"

    Wella colours

The top problems would be: None accurate mixing, use scales or measuring jug (I prefer scales) Intermixing shades, don't dilute with for example 9/38 only with mix tones Only with 6% Time for full development time 40/45 mins Take smaller sections when applying put plenty of tint on

Charging extra for extras needed in hair ups

We are £25 a hair up and a bun would be charged as extra: most of our clients would supply their own but we do have some in salon

    I am still learning colour

You have to always consider undertone, so if it was very red to begin with you wouldn't need to add more red, the image looks more golden. That would never be achieved In one sitting. If your boss isn't very helpful or encouraging I would strongly suggest getting on an advanced colour course...

    Lowlights in mid blonde

I love the wella ct plus range for adding depth into blondes. 77/07 is a good one

Curly blow dry/ bouncy blow dries

Have you tried the click lock brushes? In the salon we are the same most clients have around 20 brushes on their heads. If I need to use a small round for a tighter curl I would remove brush and place in a roller to help set so that I'm not panicking with a tail comb over a stick brush. I have...

    Grey/silver toner

10/88 or 9/81 innocence are amazing greys, if the client has any yellow tones left in her hair I would normally double tone So my first toner would be either 10/16 or 10/6 or /86 relights develop and then apply other shade

    Wella Illumina cool blonde?

Illumina is amazing but does fade awful fast, what about adding mixtone to KP or 'creating a shade e.g. 8/96 with 6/1 for a level 7? Or the new /97 range is amazing. They have 3 Kp shades and the alternate shades in colour touch

    Bleach blonde to balayage?

Illumina favs are - once I have "stripped" someone's hair if there is still brassy ness.... 7/81 amazing For an ash tint 5/81 dark 6/16 6/19 med or 7/81 9/43 slices on blonde creates an amazing rose gold as illumina is violet based it is a very soft copper: Toners on full head or highlights...

Wella master colourist here, :) I love wella colours but am looking to set up on my own and they are just a bit to steep in price. I have been looking at a few other brands and just don't know what to go for. I know cheaper ain't always better but if anybody had any suggestions i would...
