What's the best builder in a bottle?

I also second INK London's SOBIAB. I love the shorter brushes too, makes for easier application in my opinion. I put a layer of both TGB BIAB and INK SOBIAB onto a silicone mat and cured them under a lamp so I could compare! (Wierd I know!) And actually found inks SOBIAB a little stronger. When...

What colour do you use for your gel extensions?

Good point. Clear is the same price as the nude colours in the brand I'm using!

    Pricing and opinions please

I would start as you mean to go on. Don't start cheap just because you are newly qualified. Try looking at other techs in your area who offer the same services and price accordingly.

What colour do you use for your gel extensions?

So what colour do you all use for gel extensions? I currently use a nude colour as I think it provides a good base for the gel polish but not sure if I should change this. I have a new milky white builder gel and wondering if this would be a good option as it would look more like the natural...

Moving from Shellac to a longer lasting gel polish

INK london are vegan and cruelty free ads all their products are made in the EU. I really recommend this brand and is a good switch from CND as the gel polishes are also hybrid. But the wear is excellent and they have numerous base coats to suit different nail types. The price point is also very...

The Gel Bottle Daisy turned cream/beige

Could it possibly be the top coat that has discoloured and not actually the white?!

The Gel Bottle Daisy turned cream/beige

I know lighter shades can fade, especially in the sun. But not come across this one before. Same client has had white in Ink London and they stayed white, but these are the gel bottle colours. She does do cleaning though so possibly could be bleach? or some cleaning chemicals of some kind.

The Gel Bottle Daisy turned cream/beige

    The cream colour was white!

The Gel Bottle Daisy turned cream/beige

Had a client who has said that her white has turned cream/beige. She's has them done 3 weeks now. Any ideas why this has happened? Anyone had similar issues?

Would you mind to share your Christmas manicure?

These were mine, but removed them now!

    Gelaze opinions

I have a few gelaze colours but find them all inconsistent. Some are runny and some are very thick, especially the glitter ones. I don't use them thougg and instead opted for ink london which are so much better

    Gelish Polygel replacement

The ink london acrygel is nice. Not sure how it compares to poly gel though as I've never used it

    Client said nails all broke?

I'm sorry but to me it looks like she's been nibbling them! You can get chips on weak nails but I find these tend to be on main fingers, ie index and middle fingers. But her pinky is jagged as if it's been bitten off.

    Gelish Polygel alternative

    Ink london do an acrygel

    Feeling terrible

I wonder if she had a thin layer of something on her nails before you applied gel polish and didn't realise. I think the cheap discount salon stuff can be like like. I know the mma acrylic goes sticky and gungy so maybe she had some of that on her nails. Otherwise I have no idea what might have...

    Ink London hybrid gel polish

I love ink london and use this brand exclusively. They have a good range of colours and i love their flubber base coats. Word is they are also bringing out a builder gel in a bottle too. Their glitters are gorgeous aswel. Cant fault them

    Blending colours

Probably a good ombre brush using feathery strokes xx

    INK London advice

The xlac is a one step system where there is no base or top coat. You just apply the colour coat. This obviously doesn't last as long as the ilac. The ilac has a base and top coat and there are numerous different base and top coats to suit different clients/nails

    Hard gel or acrylic?

Maybe the gel extensions will make you stand out from others in your area. I would build on this as not everyone likes acrylics. Some people just like gel polish too. Have you done a gel polish course? Might be worth considering as it is also popular.
