    Salon or mobile?

Hi everyone I currently work 2 days in a salon on rent a chair basis. I know January is a quiet month but I’ve literally made no money this month! By the time I pay rent etc I’m left with nothing for myself. My mum suggested going mobile but a few of my clients have said they like the luxury...

Do I need a licence to serve alcohol?

Hi I work in a salon on a rent a chair basis. All the girls are self employed and we came up with the idea of offering our clients a mince pie and Prosecco leading up to Xmas? Our boss has said we may need a license? Is this true if we aren’t selling it...only offering like we would tea/coffee? X

    Best keratin blow drys?

Hi, thanks for replying.. I agree being self employed is more flexible with kids etc and ideally that’s my goal. The thing is the salon I would be moving to was originally a coffee shop so there is no excisting clientele so I would be starting from scratch and I don’t know if I can afford to not...
