    Colour remover

I would choose effasor, however it’s very unlikely to get from black to light brown in one appointment. I would take a test strand & see how that goes to give your client a more realistic expectation ☺️

    Colour advice please

Personally I think I would do highlights to lift the colour out , but still do her root colour in between for now so it’s not ginger roots into dark & highlighted ends , then I’d do a root toner to blend the highlights into the root colour and just gradually get lighter and lighter every time...

    Highlights

Thanks ! I managed to convince her to have bleach , so we did 2x bleach and a highlift ash and I pulled some base 8 lowlight through to break up her existing blonde. It was a nice soft but bright blonde

    Toning help

If you’re painting the bleach to the root like a highlight then yes I’d do a root toner similar to or one shade lighter her natural (if she’s a base 6 id do 7 on her roots) just like 1/2 inch from the root but keep lighter around face then I’d blend it into your lighter ends toner. If you’re...

Full head highlights Wella colour choice

How much darker does she want the caramel to be? I think if do bleach , a highlift - as it’s usually warmer than the bleach so more natural , then maybe a really fine base 8 lowlight scattered every 2 foils to break it up a bit , are you toning it? You could use the toner to darken it down...

    Green hair

That’s so weird! It must be the purple shampoo which one was it? I’d do the same as you’ve done try to cleanse the tone out then I’d put a warmer toner on it to counteract it. I had a client similar to this but hers was like khaki green after putting a lilac direct dye on, so we cleansed the...

    Highlights

New client has a fear of bleach as she’s scared it’ll ruin her hair. I’ve explained to her about olaplex & smart bond etc but she still doesn’t want me to use it.. she’s a warm 7 naturally with Old bleach balayage ends (a warm 9) she wants to brighten up her roots so we’re going to do...

Transition from full head bleach to something more natural

I have a client who has full head bleach at the moment almost white, she has 8 weeks worth of regrowth she is naturally light - a base 9 with no natural white hair. She’s wanting to convert to something more natural. I’m looking for suggestions? So far I’ve thought of 1-changing to...

    Lightening natural hair

What are you wanting to achieve? You could use a tint or a high lift tint. Or you could use the L’Oréal sunkissed lightening oil. It really depends on what effect you want to achieve & tone

    Help, best ash hair colours!

Maybe try 7.12 for a root smudge as the violet should counteract the warmth. I use level 7’s (L’Oréal dialight) for root smudges with 9vol make sure you’re letting it develop fully and don’t panic and rinse it too quick as it won’t do the job! Xx
