Hola ladies,
I came across this skin care brand but cannot see any reviews. Is anyone familiar with it? They have home/salon/spa kits available to purchase (not too cheap)
Thank you!
Hello ladies,
Wanted some advise on good brows training courses in London. I did study it as part of my Level 2, however techniques shown are really basic and I feel like I am scared to touch someone else's brows :(
What is the best way to practice brows tinting?
Thanks for your help and...
Actually I have been told by insurance company that they won’t be able to upgrade and I only have 8 weeks till I qualify. I also thought they would be able to upgrade but this wasn’t an option. Perhaps I need to check Salon Gold then!)
Hey JCH,
Thank you- this is really useful!! Can I just ask you how much did you pay for your first license ? I received a quote for £34 per annum. Is this about right ? Seems really cheap but it’s pretty basic
Hey,
Thank you for replying.
I have been asked for policy number by Eve Taylor brand for some reason, hence I wanted to find an insurance. I found few insurance providers but when I called them up they said they don’t insure students
By tricks I mean how to choose the policy correctly - should...
Hey girls!
Hope your week started well!
I’ve been told there is an insurance I can get while being a student so I can start practicing on clients ( also buy some of the products not available unless you have insurance)
I looked online but couldn’t find anything. Please could someone help out...
Hey there,
Yes, I know this brand but thought it too accessible for everybody so wanted to find somethign a bit better quality.
Have you used Eve Taylor ? How would you compare both?
Thank you !
Hey Sandi,
Thank you so much for the advise. Well I am looking to start basic treatments at home. I’m guessing I will try to contract ET directly then. What is your opinion on their products?
Thank you
Hey girls and boys,
I’m looking to buy starter skincare kit that I could use at home somethign like skintruth sets. Could someone please advise what would be the best option for a beginner? (don’t want to spend too much to begin with)
Also, I would appreciate if you could add links to “where to...
Hey guys,
I was wondering if I can master Micropigmenation course without having prior experience in Beauty industry? I was initially planning to do Level 2, however now after researching I got really interesting in Micropigmentation (eyebrows, eyeliner, lip liner). The course in super...
Selvan, I still don’t understand the difference between VTCT and NVQ. You said NVQ give skills to practice in the industry. How is VTCT different ? Does it mean that only schools that provide real commercial experience have NVQ?
Good morning !
That is a really useful information- thank you ! I came across two courses : VCTC level 2 certificate in beauty therapy treatments And NVQ level 2 diploma in beauty therapy general. What is the difference???
Hello there :)
I am not looking for an employment but would rather want to work mobile or from home. If I specialise in nails only but in the future would like to set up business offering different treatments would I need to have NVQ level 2 to obtain license from London council? I am just...
Selvan, I think that could be a good idea actually since I am not really interested in make up or facials. One more thing I wanted to ask- if in the future I wanted to open business providing beauty treatments would I need to do level 2 anyways to get a license?
Selvan, thank you! Yes LCBT is really expensive. I was considering East London Beauty academy actually. So if I want to stick to three things: nails, waxing and spray tanning you think it is still better to do Level 2 beauty therapy? I'm just not sure as it costs a lot of money and has things...
