Can I teach workshops to adults without a teaching qualification?

I have been a massage therapist in beauty for around 13 years now and my friend has asked me if I could teach her how to give her husband an indian head massage as they can't always afford to get it done and during the pandemic, he really missed it. It helped with headaches and overall stress...

Vegan & cruelty free lash lifting products?

What an amazing and thorough answer, thank you so much and you've really made me think too. I'm vegan myself so I'm now questioning a lot.. may I ask, which facial products are you using? I am only a mobile therapist so I don't own a salon.. I guess that might impact whether they supply to...

Vegan & cruelty free lash lifting products?

I've been vegan since January and I feel very strongly about it, so much so that I have realised that all of the products I use on clients (used to anyway, before covid) say they're cruelty free but actually still contain animal derived products and I will not be paying into these companies...

Why are acrylic nails and gel so cheap?

I charge £20 for a basic set of gel.. now wondering if I should charge more.. But I do nail art for £2-£5 extra.. It's depressing trying to find "middle ground" prices. A lot of the work is okay but you can clearly see where they've left gaps too wide between the cuticle and plate, edges haven't...

Why are acrylic nails and gel so cheap?

A lot A lot people on Facebook charge that.. so when people see my prices, they are almost taken a back that they pay a similar price to that of a salon. But for some reason still think the service should be cheaper. But it's not just the product use, it's petrol costs, my pay, my product use...

Why are acrylic nails and gel so cheap?

Why are acrylic nails and gel so cheap?

I started my mobile beauty business a couple of months ago and finding that on Facebook in particular, there are a lot of people charging £13-£15 per set! My prices are £30 for acrylics, £20 for infills And £7 extra for gels. I'm using The Manicure Company's products and finding I'm getting...
