Very interesting Alex..I have absolutely no issue financially with buying a more expensive lamp its just that as of yet everything has cured in my SUN so haven't needed too. However..with the information your giving me there's more to consider now.

Could you explain more about "melded" to the nail plate a little more just when you have time please. I've never heard of this. You certainly have some very interesting knowledge to bring in...Thanks!

The name of my Australian government training school got automatically taken down once I tried to send it. Not sure why, sorry about that ladies

Thank you very much Nancy for replying in such a constructive way! This has given me alot to think about. I think the reason I'm so relaxed in my approach to nails lies in my training. Although I really hate to blow the whistle here, Australian ****** (college?) Will pass just about anybody who...

Absolutely, nothing irritates me more than nail techs that don't know the industry regulations yet put every glitter colour there is inside an otherwise beautifully structured nail like an eight yr old would. I'd really like to comment more on Australian training in here except I did join to try...

May I ask how many different nail technicians from all over come in here regularly to post. Is it just the few of you or does in here get busy at times

If this is a site for professional nail technicians then I'd like to stay. I'm pleased to see so much focus in here is spent on the health and safety of clients.

I've never had an issue yet with mixing products, I do what works for me. We're all different. The Bluesky builder is pretty thick I agree haven't tried it yet but just from opening the jar I can see. Alot of people wouldn't like this but for me I actually do apart from the fact I bought clear...

Ok, now I get what your saying. Yes makes more sense now. So what would you suggest a nail tech do who combines multiple products in the one service, surely we couldn't buy a lamp for each gel step. With all due respect that would be insane. I must admit if I was of nature to conform to the one...

Terrible thing to happen to anybody. I know of people who've reacted to primers where their fingers were so damaged they nearly had to leave the industry. The wounds seem to take forever to heal aswel.

Hi Kyralouise, I just bought blueskys builder gel for the first time yesterday. I've never tried them before. I was also actually thinking to try gel bottle down the track mainly because both are vegan friendly. Is their a problem with Bluesky before I go and spend more. Thanks.

Hi Bob, I'm not an expert myself on lamps since I haven't bought many so don't know if I can help much but definitely any of the "SUN" lamps are great value for nail techs just starting out who haven't yet decided which gel system company they want to stick with and still finding their way. The...

Thankyou for replying, nice to meet you. Your absolutely right in that no I didn't read the initial pinned post so no I don't know the full story I acknowledge that. I was simply commenting on the lamp bit. Your background sounds very interesting indeed.

    Too old to train

Go girl..never too late to start nails. I was a late bloomer also. Starting when I was older was excellent because I knew exactly what I wanted and had a bit of life's wisdom behind me when I needed it. Nails are fantastic at any age so I do hope you will give it a go.

Hi their..within reason, there's absolutely nothing wrong with the cheaper lamps. My one cost me $30 and it's been working great for 4yrs. Absolutely no need to spend hundreds. Otherwise your paying for the logo not the job it does. I do hope you found a nice lamp whichever one that was🙂
