Does anyone not use the magpie lamp and have success, if so what do you use please? I currently use cnd but looking to buy additional lamp for magpie.
I understand that you should use correct lamp etc etc just curious as to who uses what?
I did an offer of half price tans for one minth. So £10 instead of £20. I've just had a new customer who came twice for the offer, if I would consider still keeping offer on.
I'm reluctant to permanently reduce my price so looking for suggestions for an new offer?
I was thinking maybe offering...
I intended using LA Fast tan on a client tonight and when I started I noticed it was actually the regular 12%. I offered to spray over with fast tan but client happy to keep this on overnight. However as she doesn't want too much colour do you think she could wash it off after 5 hrs before she...
Any recommendations for a good mascara? I keep falling for the marketing patter and end up disappointed lol. I used to like an Avon one " astonishing lengths" and recently bourjois " one sec" volume. Both now discontinued
My latest bottle of salon system individual lash glue is now in a 10ml different style bottle rather than the 15ml square bottle. I've put lashes in twice on myself in last 24 hrs and on both occasions they come loose? The glue doesn't seem strong enough anymore. Anyone else having problems?
Anyone else having issues with the new style bottle for top it off? The product is setting in neck of bottle and causing application problems? I regularly try remove the build up but it's a pain. [emoji45]

Anyone use this? My fingertips are dry and split easily due to acetone and anti bacterial gel so this could be the answer? Can't find a glove that...
Does everyone who runs a home salon inform their home insurance company of this? I obviously already have salon insurance and need to renew my home insurance. Don't want to pay over and above on this as it says business use is not covered anyway.
I use gelish structure gel on some clients with weak nails. I'm thinking of switching to magpie "give me strength"
Has anyone tried both?
Do you think all these "strengtheners" are pretty much the same?
I've noticed ridges on one big toe and both toes next to big toe. I understand these are "beau's" lines. I'm curious as to whether this could be caused by me being over zealous with my prep therefore causing injury or illness?
A year ago I was diagnosed with kidney cancer and had kidney and...
Just purchased the cnd led lamp to replace my cnd uv lamp. I cure gelish in cnd lamp normally. Does anyone have a step by step guide to curing times for gelish in cnd led lamp? Think Base coat is 30 secs for gelish in led buy cnd lamp only has 10 second and 1 minute settings?
Hi unfortunately I have been diagnosed with suspected kidney cancer and awaiting surgery to get kidney removed. Hoping my fellow geeks can reassure me with any experience they may have on this. Doc says it hasn't spread anywhere which is a huge bonus but I'm scared nonetheless! X
Unfortunately I've been diagnosed with suspected kidney cancer and getting kidney removed 25th April. I won't be able to work for a while and just wondered if I could claim any benefit. I don't pay tax but do pay Nat insurance.
I use gelish, shellac and artistic colour gloss and can't seem to find a nice bright turquoise colour that's more blue than green. Any recommendations?
Anyone got any insider info on this new gelish product coming in January? They claim it will revolutionise the industry just like when they released gel polish in 2010.
I have a regular client that has problems keeping shellac or gelish on her thumbs in particular. Today we cured the thumbs separately to make sure they were flat in lamp and getting a proper cure. I was extra vigilant removing cuticle and dehydrating nail plate. Hoping this will solve issue but...
