    Identifying Colour

I have this lady booked into me next week in the salon for all over tint and shampoo & set. Any ideas what shade of colour she has got on?

    Which colour brand?

Goldwell (60ml tubes) or Affinage (100ml tubes) I use both and always get great coverage. I tend to use Affinage if they have; long hair, quite thick hair or a big head in size meaning more hair which some women do have.

    Perm lotion help

Go for the Goldwell Biocurl in the green boxes. We have used them for years and get really good results every time. I preferred them to Dulcia. For coloured hair you can't beat the acid perms (avec, asp, s pro salon services) they take better and last much longer. We speaking to a manager in...

    Plum Colour

My client is grey underneath. Last time in March she had on Goldwell 6VV max. I decided to go down the Affinage root as she has thick long hair and you get more in the tube. I was looking along the level 6 area.

Does anybody know a good plum shade in Affinage as I have never used plum in Affinage before? Thanks.

Thanks, I will try this on Tuesday. If I do the full colour should I use 6% or 9% to fully cover the bleached hair?

    Colour Help

I have a client who is quite dark still with some grey and white round the front of the hairline. She used to have highlights until recently when she decided to go bleach blonde. Now she wants a colour on all over and I said she can keep a t-bar of highlights inbetween. She has a lot of red...

    Colour not lifting

Thanks, it worked well. However, she has now decided to embrace her natural white hair.

    Colour not lifting

As mentioned above earlier, this client wanted to go up a shade to an 'Goldwell 8NN' which I did it covered well on her white hair. Last time I didn't cover very well at all. I wondered if Wella did any shades similar to photo of her hair below that would lift her resistant white hair?

Thanks, ronray, I did her hair today and it worked really well what you said and eradicated her previous colour that she said she had been having on for the last 4 months.

    Colour Advice

A new client popped in on saturday about having her hair coloured. Photo 1, is of her current hair colour which is very lilac and pinky looking. She wants to go back to the colour in the second photo with highlights scattered through. She had no regrowth and I asked her what colour she is...

    Reaction to colour.

I've ordered just 10/0 in this. I don't use heat on her. Though sometimes her hair can be a bit resistant at times. If I need to use heat I will pop one of jet hood dryers over her head.

    Reaction to colour.

I have a lady (first photo) who comes in every 6 - 8 weeks to have her roots and a one length cut done. I have used Goldwell 10N & 10A several times she said after 4th time that it was making her scalp sting. Then I tried NXT, same with that after 1st go. Then I tried Affinage 10,0 & 10,1 which...
