Would you do the root area whilst the bleach highlights are taking? And would you slice or weave the highlights? Quite fine highlights? Sorry for all the questions - I'm trying to get it straight in my head before I start!

Could I ask, how would you do that please? Her hair is only a couple of inches long (I think it looks longer in the photo - it's very thick), and I'm struggling to come up with a method. I've never done much more than a tint or cap highlights on such short hair.
