    Modelones gel polish info needed!

I'd stay away imo. It's available all over places like ebay and amazon. Stick to a pro-only brand, ideally one with their own lamp. I won't lie that I did use them before I was qualified, and they are generally okay, but it's not something I would want to offer to clients.

We don't give advice to people who aren't qualified. And it's a bad company who sells to the same.

    Gel polish and acrylic brands?

I'm personally a fan of Cuccio, but I recently found that anybody could buy it from a certain nail polish website. If I go back to salon work, I'm thinking of switching to OPI or Gelish, both of which I also love and as far as I can see can only be bought by pros. As for acrylic...have you...

    Gel polish and acrylic brands?

Are you trained in gel and acrylic?

    Level 2 nail services advice?

You have to put in what you want to get back. I studied at my local college (Stockport) and two of my classmates have their own businesses now. One is mobile, another has a physical salon. I had employment for a few months and only quit because I ended up going to university. A level 2 isn't...

Best products to get for someone who is just starting

Are you trained and qualified? If not, please don't buy random stuff online because I swear you haven't got a clue how to use it or how dangerous it can be.

    Gel polish brands?

Do you mean for you to do mobile or for clients to do themselves? If it's the former, what is the issue you would have with your current brand, and if it's the latter, gel nails shouldn't really be done by anyone other than a professional. I'd personally advocate for Cuccio because it's what I...

Which gel brand is the best?

I love cuccio. Its the brand I used in college and mostly continue to use when I do my own nails :)

    UV gel nail polish bumps

I definitely second ciderella's advice. Sometimes we get unavoidable bits of fluff or grit in our polish. I usually do a quick check for foreign bodies before I put nails in the lamp, but if I don't see them before I cure, I buff then add another coat if the damage is a lot.

    Nail cracking

Not the application itself, more like someone has pulled them off and left some of the nail behind. Poor/unprofessional removal is a likely culprit.

Which beauty treatment is most popular?

Our in-house salon at college mostly did eyebrows and acrylic nails. I think it's a northern thing. Everyone wants neat eyebrows and long nails.

    Gel on 5 year old?

Like everybody else, I am going with a resounding NO! It genuinely frightens me that people want things like that for their small children. From my experience, children a) never seem to want to sit still long enough, making application a nightmare and next to impossible anyway, and b) exposing...

    Gel ombré

I've been using an ombré brush that I got from ebay. It's sort of like a regular hard gel brush, but it's finer at the end and seems to work wonders for me. Have a look on YouTube, I think Kirsty at NaioNails has a video? I'm sure I saw one from her...if not, there are a few others who have...
