Yes it’s a direct dye, don’t have much experience with the removal of it. Do you know why direct dyes do that? I’ve done it on faded direct dyes and it removes but not a fresh colour.

I’ve posted about this as well and o think it’s a chemical reaction to people medications. Pain pills and types of antidepressants can have this effect. Medications do effect colours and perms.

Has anyone experienced kwick Way highlighting papers melting in someone’s hair? In 24 years I’ve experienced this twice now and I think it could be due to the client on antidepressants?
