Thanks - went for the malm in the end after about an hour of deliberation and getting mum to sit opposite me. I like the glass top. And also, if it turns out to be too small, I’ve got myself a new dressing table for my bedroom!

In IKEA now and have sat at both the limmon / Alex combo (60cm) and the malm dresser (41cm) and cannot decide which width is best. Help please!

What’s the difference please between stick it and foil gel? When I use foils at the moment, I don’t use anything as I find they stick fine to the tacky layer of the shellac. When would you recommend using foil gel that you linked? Thanks!

I use Yours stamping plates too with the halo stamper along with CND creative play polishes. They work fab!

What brand are you using at the moment? You'll find a quality brand will often offer training in their particular brand and you should see good results then. It may be a brand issue.

I have satin pyjamas and field fox. If I get nude knickers too, do you think that's enough variety for nudes or are there any others? I know they've got a nude collection out at the moment, but if I already have some good staples, I don't see the point in investing in that particular collection.

Thanks. It's so hard not to get carried away. I am about to put another order into bring my total up to about 25 polishes but then I have quite a lot of glitters and foils, so plenty of choice. I guess time will tell which are popular colours and which ones I will probably not repurchase!

I use CND Shellac and Lecenté foils and the foils stick perfectly to the sticky layer of the second cured colour layer. I place it on, squeeze onto the nail and then use a clean/dry lint pad to 'massage' it on. Not had any problems yet!
