Asian tips
I have seen a few threads that these are easier to blend and seem reasonably priced.
Just ordered some. Can't wait to get them now to give them a try.
This site is great. Would have never heard of them otherwise. Thanks geeks.
Do i have to be qualified for 6 months before doing the cnd conversion.
I've had the info sent me but didn't ask about this?
I've done 2 years at college for nvq city and guilds level3.
One of the reasons I have been staying away from using tips is because of the time taken to blend.
I have been sculpturing nails but at the moment I am not happy with the amount of powder i am using (too much) or the shape (too much filing needed for the length and the shape, usually too wide)...
My subscription ran out a couple of months ago and I want to re-subscribe.
They usually advertise an offer in the magazine for subscribing, so I was interested in getting this too.
Does anybody know what it is?
If you do could you please give me the number and any code to quote.
Thank you.
I've just qualified level 3 nail services and even though I can do a set in the recommeded time, I feel i have a lot of filing to get the right shape.
I seem to put the smile on to thick at the sides (ears). I think I do this thinking if it is to thin the structure wont be strong. Because it...
I have bought a portable lamp today from nsi. It was only £15.00 and seemed a bargain as I have seen them advertised for more.
It is the fold up portable one from the daylight company.
Since getting it home though I have noticed that mine is a 9w but is also available in 13w.
Will mine...
How many use a colour blend and on how many clients.
I'm wondering is it ok to use it for a lot of clients because it would cover imperfections and also to extend the nail bed.
Acrylic or gel for toes? which do you prefer to do?
I've only done gel for toes although I prefer to use acrylic for hands.
Is the acrylic hard to do for toes?
Do you spray the whole body once and then repeat the process or do you spray one area and then go over that before moving onto the next.
I just wondered if there is any way to not have the client moving around so much.
I was taught to spray once all over and then repeat.
Also if you do...
I have recently qualified and thinking of doing mobile and home spray tanning. I have tantrick at the moment but am thinking of moving to Liquid Sun by Vani-T.
As you know both these solutions are top quality and not cheap but the hairdressers at the side of my house does LA tan for £10 per...
After tanning and if you have a bit left in the tank, what do you do with it?
It is early days for me so I have poured it back into the big bottle and then flushed out my hvlp with warm water.
Is this right?
Is there an easier way than pouring it back into the bottle each time?
I've just qualified at college. Got my assesment for the spray tanning about a month ago but have just got some equipment.
Went tonight to my sisters house equiped with booth, tantrick solution, hvlp.
My sister wanted it done but I didn't know she had talked her husband into it too!
My...
I wondered because I've noticed that when doing clients I may get one come back with no lift and then the next client will come back and her nails will look disgusting.
I know I put on a decent set of nails and am thorough with my prep.
I had a teen come back for infills last week and they...
I have just got some products from Youngs after hearing all the positive threads about it. I got Powders, monomer, insure a bond and Proteinbond.
I thought the insure a bond was a dehydrater but on doing more research the Swipe product is the dehydrator which I didn't order!
So I have also...
As I have said I have just watched the nailzoo vid and it looks easier to get the side walls straight.
At the moment I use a ezflow oval 508. I like it but I am not ruling out trying a different brush for an easier application.
Take a look if you haven't been on the Nailzoo site, it also...
Which do you use and what are the advantages/disadvantages of each?
I have just started using a dispenser but wonder am I loading too much monomer onto my brush.
